Before leaving, I went into AK's room. "Baby, mommy has to leave early for work, do you want to get up with me or wait until daddy comes?"Without saying a word, I watched her literally rub the sleep out of her eyes and off of her body. She then sat up on her knees with her eyes closed and her arms outstretched, "Mama."
Sigh.
That is why it is worth it.
